Coronavirus Update at the COA...

COA's facilities closed November 30 - December 6

After a great deal of consideration, the COA will temporarily close both COA facilities beginning Monday November 30.  We have always prioritized the safety of our customers and staff and feel that this is the right decision for our community at this time.

In preparation for the shutdown, our Meals on Wheels program delivered frozen meals to all of our clients to enjoy safely in their home while we are not open.

We encourage you all to stay safe and healthy throughout this holiday season.  This includes practicing social distancing, wearing a mask, and staying home when you are not well.

As you know, safety recommendations can and will likely change in accordance to the CDC and our state recommendations and we will do our best to keep you up to date regarding re-opening dates.

Learn the basics of Pickleball outside in our pavilion with instructor Duane Adams every Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Equipment will be provided unless you have your own.

Pickleball is a paddle sport played with a whiffle ball on a badminton-sized court and a tennis-style net. A non-volley zone (or kitchen) prevents volleys close to the net, and the serving team cannot volley the return of serve. These unique rules favor players with less mobility and allow senior players to compete successfully with younger competitors. (Learn more)
