The Cass County COA has an outdoor walking trail located at its facility in Cassopolis, Michigan. The location of the trail is ideal not only for its open setting, but it is safe and easily accessible from the COA parking lot.
The 7/10-mile paved trail has benches, landscaping and handicapped accessible exercise and wellness stations.
The trail is open to the public free of charge, and it is designed to encourage Cass residents of all ages and backgrounds to join together and lead healthy lives.
Support and funding for the trail was provided by many in the community, including K& M Manufacturing, McLoughlin Family Foundation, Borgess Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital and Lee Memorial Group, Sauk Trails, Leonard Kanczuzewski, Fifth Third Bank, Judy & Robert Hurst, Don and Joan Lyons, and Greg Osborn
