On Tuesday, August 4, Cass County residents have an opportunity to support the COA on the Renewal "Millage Proposition for Services to Older Citizens."

Millage funds are crucial for the Cass County COA's ability to provide programs and services that meet the present and future needs of Cass County seniors.

The millage provides over 65% of the COA's operating income.  These funds directly support seniors in our community with many essential programs like Handy Helpers, which builds wheel chair ramps for those in need at no cost to the homeowner; Meals on Wheels, Medical Transportation to out-of-county appointments, Medicare and Medicaid counseling, and much, much, more.

The COA also offers fun activities such as games, fitness challenges, educational opportunities, holiday parties, craft classes, and bus trips.  Both COA locations offer daily lunch options of fresh salads, soups, sandwiches and SNS congregate hot meals.  Please note: at this time, meals  are carry-out for your convenience.

The Cass County COA helped seniors "Stay home, Stay safe" throughout the pandemic by delivering over 15,000 hot and frozen meals at little or no cost to area seniors.

The COA goes the extra mile to keep older adults happy, healthy and engaged in our community.

1 in 4 Cass County residents is over the age of 60.  This large and growing group of seniors are counting on your support for the COA's Renewal Millage Proposition for Services to Older Citizens on August 4.

This is a renewal of an existing millage; Not an increase.
