Join us in the COA Fitness Center during the month of May as we hike the US for the “Go Take a Hike!” fitness challenge. This is a mileage based challenge focusing on incline and climbing instead of solely concentrating on distance. Mileage and incline will be taken from real hiking trails across the US, including local trails. The ARC machine, treadmills, and bikes will be used to essentially “hike” the trails, as well as the COA’s own walking trail in Cassopolis.

 

Join in the fun and keep track of your mileage to see how far you can go. All who hike 50 miles or more will receive a t-shirt upon completion. For those who want to take the challenge a “step” further can try hiking 75 miles or more, which will be rewarded with a personalized version of the shirt with your name on it. Now get out there and go take a hike.
